When I speak about the struggles with health confusion, dieting, bingeing, and emotional eating, it's because I've experienced them firsthand.
My journey with weight watchers began at the young age of 18, weight watchers and as the years passed, I became a chronic fad dieter, fixated on my weight to an unhealthy extent. This mindset became my new normal, and I couldn't see beyond it.
During that period, my self-esteem hit rock bottom. I would lose weight, only to gain it all back again and more. This constant struggle was consuming, stressful, and utterly exhausting.

the founder of My Balanced Kitchen. I am a 38 year old mum of one with a huge passion for making and eating FOOD.
I have always loved classic, comforting food, along with takeaways and sweet treats. I love it ALL but that did lead to a body that I just didn’t feel comfortable in, - so in 2016 I joined a gym and embarked on a mission to transform myself. This is where my health and wellness journey truly began and slowly I transformed into the best version of myself.
I have spent years creating a catalogue of my favourite comfort foods and making them suitable for a healthy lifestyle, and now it’s time to share them with you!

My mission is to make weight loss and weight maintenance something that’s enjoyable and fun. To enable you to eat delicious food, with no restrictions, that is easy to make and compliments a busy lifestyle.
